How to use

There are a few different ways to apply powders / powder foundations, depending on your coverage needs. But we advise using the following steps to use the brush most effectively.

Select the correct powder: Choose a loose or pressed powder product that meets your demands based on your desired output. Setting powders are used to establish foundation and regulate shine, whereas finishing powders create a soft, blurred appearance. Bronzers are used to warm up and contour the face.

Load the brush with powder by gently swirling it into loose powder or delicately tapping it into the surface of pressed powder. Pick up a sufficient amount of product, tapping off any excess to avoid overapplication.

Apply powder to the face in delicate, sweeping motions, beginning in the center of your face. Cover larger regions of the face with broad strokes, such as the forehead, cheeks, and chin. Pay special attention to areas where you may have shine or where you want to set your makeup, such as the T-zone.

Blend and buff: Use the powder brush in circular or buffing strokes to obtain an equal and natural finish. This helps the powder blend easily into the skin, preventing apparent lines or spots. Blend until the powder is properly spread and the required coverage or effect is achieved.

Use the powder brush to target certain areas, such as the hollows of the cheeks or along the jawline, if you’re applying bronzer to enhance warmth or contour. Apply the bronzer lightly at first, gradually increasing the strength as needed.

To remove extra powder, simply sweep a clean powder brush or a fluffy brush over your face. This creates a more natural finish and keeps it from looking thick or cakey.

Clean and maintain the brush: It is critical to clean the powder brush after each usage to eliminate any remaining product and maintain its functionality. You can gently wash it with mild soap or clean it with a makeup brush cleanser. Rinse thoroughly, rearrange the bristles, and let dry naturally.
